The Vow

We all know that when it comes to weight loss it ain't easy. I think about last year when I was losing weight and how well I was doing and I smile. At that time I was on my own living 1200 miles away from home. It is really easy to stay focused and motivated when I am away from the influences from home, but now that I am here it is a lot harder. I was losing weight and keeping it off. For some reason it has been really hard for me to get motivated and focused on losing the last 15-20 pounds that I would like to. Today I am vowing to myself and to all of you that I will get it off. I want this more than anything, I want to be free of this extra weight and happy in my own skin. I want to be proud of myself and able to say that I am motivated, dedicated, and achieving my dreams. I want the body that I never thought I could have, I want the body that others have told me I never will have. Here goes nothing.

Healthy Smoothie

Today'd Delicious, Get fit, Lunch Smoothie! I usually include: - One Banana - Two table spoons of soy yogurt - 3/4 cup of water - 1/2 cup of frozen fruit - Two teaspoons of flax seeds Yummy and so good for you two!

Ready Set Go!

The beginning of the year always presents a "should-be" motivated attitude. In 2012 I lost a total of 32 pounds but when I moved back to my hometown halfway through the year my weight loss came to an abrupt stop and I have not gained or lost weight since. I am realizing that motivation does not come from a the first month of the year or where you are living, motivation comes from being ready for change. I am ready to continue my journey towards a healthier me. Sticking to my healthier diet and regular work out schedule will be key I will keep you posted on what those include! Here it goes, I'm jumping in with both feet again!
